The Lost Prophecies: Shadows of Winter is a Total-Conversion Modification of Half-Life 2. This epic adventure is experienced through the eyes of a courageous squire battling both the forces of evil and the hardships of an under-privileged social caste. Explore the wore-torn land of Parmathia brought to life with Valve Software's Source engine in breathtaking detail.

Shadows of Winter is the opening chapter of The Lost Prophecies saga. In this tale, you must don the tattered tunic of Squire Callum and journey across the battle-scarred baronies of Ahearn & Kardrak in a quest to save your lord's remaining child from the clutches of the evil arch-duke, Salitas Lowen and his murderous armies bent on ruling all of Parmathia unchallenged. Callum soon discovers there's more to rescuing this damsel in distress than originally revealed. The fate of the world rests in your hands.
Will Parmathia be liberated from tyranny or be consumed by the shadows of an ancient evil?
Use a deadly arsenal of historic and mythical arms & armour at your disposal to battle Lowen’s army and the forces of darkness. Cast spells from two separate grimoires that can heal your allies or roast your enemies within their armour. Valuable items can be acquired along your journey such as Ausbessern Herbs to heal your wounds and Vis Crystals to energize your spells. Wield the mighty Flamberge to impale mounted opponents or employ the awesome strength of the Arbalest to perforate your enemies from afar. The choice is yours.

The Shadows of Winter beckon.

Now that summer is in full swing, our team brings forth more material to remind us that the biting cold of winter is never too far away. This time around; we'd like to present another set of armour fresh from Sir Phoenixx's forge. The heavier, more protective suit of Medium Armour is available in many variations. Click on the links below to see a more detailed view of a Kardrak soldier regaled in this protective gear and the other variations encountered throughout TLP:SoW. For more information pertaining to these and other Arms & Armour, visit our Equipment section.

Suits of armour aren't the only protective equipment within TLP:SoW. We also present another shield characters may employ to defend themselves with. The Round Shield; hardier than the Buckler, is the favoured shield for infantry and cavalry alike and many soldiers have emblazoned heraldic decorations upon its face.

Lastly, many have inquired about the status of our maps and, with the assembly of our very talented crew of Mappers/World Builders, we will be releasing imagery very soon!
Our recent additons to the team; Bismarck and CoKie, have combined their efforts with TheKeyci to produce some truly impressive marvels. We're currently putting some additional touches on these levels to make them more presentable to the public and look forward to unveiling them in the coming weeks.

We'd also like add one final note: Our team is always looking for skilled and dedicated contributors to help bring this project to life and if you feel you'd be an asset please drop us a line (found in our "Contact" section of the website).
