A resourceful player may find a reliable tool when
using this improvised weapon. Seemingly innocuous,
the Cresset can serve multiple deadly purposes
when in the hands of a skilled combatant. Blunt
weapons such as this are also more effective
against the undead creatures that possess bones
needed to be crushed for true defeat. The main
drawback of these improvised weapons is their
fragility and tendency to break at inopportune
times. Wielders of these weapons are strongly
cautioned to always have a back-up weapon handy.
Primary Attack swipes at opponents within close
range and Alternate Attack will parry incoming
attacks somewhat dependably. When lit with
Naphtha, this weapon will last indefinitely aflame
and provide a source of light for the wielder.
Once dropped however, it will be extinguished.
