The people look too big.

Tradeoff. Visibility vs. realism. If I make them smaller, and I tried all sizes, they can't be seen. Especially if I truescale them, they look like dots and then what's the point in having them in the first place? :)

I like the idea of the corpses, but I personally don't think it works very well. Everything else is spectacularly awesome though. Is it possible to turn them off somehow?
sorry if that sounds negative cos I think you are doing an awesome job

All the modded files are in .txt format because this is still a beta, so with some editing work you can remove them. Look for "Body spill" emitters and delete them from particle files, and don't forget to reduce the particle emitter count and remove the entries from the fade affector as well!
Unfortunately, there is no easier way to pull them out of the mod.

Thanks for the feedback by the way - based on player input I may decide to resize the bodies or not, we'll see. :) Also, for final versions, Carnage in Space will be released as an optional add-on for the Last Stand mod, so you will have a choice of having bodies in or not.

Excellent ideas with the bodies, I was thinking about something like that, especially when I saw Starship Troopers.

But...they look a bit too big. Maybe resize them to make it more realistic.

Yeah, enough people have commented on that and I agree that the bodies are a bit too large. The next version of the mini-mod will have them reduced in size, as well as removed from critical hit effects. This is in preparation for the Last Stand: Episode I because Xin ships just wouldn't look right with humanoids spilling out of them. ;)

No, I didn't mean your comment was surplus, I just meant that now enough people (you included) have commented on the size of the bodies for me to reconsider their girth. :)

I have entrenchment 1.041 and I cant seem to get these mods to work in my game... should the folders be loose or should I make 1 folder and place them inside then place it in the mod folder?

Each mod should have its folders placed in a single folder in the Mods folder. So, for example, your path should look something like this:

C:\Documents and Settings\*****\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods-Entrenchment v1.041\Volumetric1.13\

Also keep in mind that the version available here are not entirely tested for Entrenchment 1.041 - I am currently making an upgraded and optimized version of this minimod so keep an eye out for its release!

I have a savegame done just before a minidump and a crash, but I can't tell exactly what is going on that causes the crash. It happens at the same point each time however. I will try deleting the PipelineEffect folder and see if that lets me continue playing. What should I do to help pinpoint the cause of the minidump? I have the dump file saved.

I have played one previous game last night vs 3 cpu on a large random map and that game went on for quite a long time, at least several hours, before finally crashing. This crash I am having now happens early in a random medium map, same 3 AI players with small fleet sizes.

Running Sins 1.15 and Entrenchment 1.01 fresh installs, no other mods. When the mod is disabled, I am able to continue playing past the crash point.
