The End Of Days is a freeware modification for Command & Conquer: Generals Zero Hour. Our mod adds a new playable faction - Russia, and greatly improves the original three with new units, structures and special powers!
Since the European faction was announced, we still didn't come up with an acronym for it.
While the European Union is just an economic union, we needed something that has an actual militaristic context.
Here's the list of acronyms we've come up with.

3. Alliance Ratified for European Security (ARES)
4. Alliance Responsible for Inarguable European Safety (ARIES)

7. European Military Cooperation (EMC)

I have a physical copy of the game
but all of a sudden,
I get an error message
" please login with administrator privileges "
even if I run it as admin,
compatibiliy settings are tweaked
never had issues before
seems linked to a WIndows update I can't undo
I've been testing this mod for years without major issues
Dunno, it doesn't really sound like the problem of the game itself.
its mostly an issue with WIndows no longer supporting Securom DRM anymore and blocking users to launch it
Use the exe patch that's available on the gentool website. It should fix your problem.
thank you.. I just don't know what gentool is but I downloaded it
will give it a shot.. I know its not the game or the mod... its Windows.. but I have been playing this mod for many years and reinstalling it without any issues and all of a sudden I can't play.. was playing it almost every day since the 1st iterations..

1 and 7 are simple and to the point, while 6 has an interesting ring to pronouncing the acronym. 1 is more direct than the rest, but that aspect is neither good nor bad!

"EDA" is "FOOD" in russian language
"Ares" is the Greek god of courage and war.
