Hello everyone, this is my new mod. It shows the calradian continent in the 16th century. It is NOT historically accurate and you will see guns and rapiers versus axes and bows. Features -New loadscreen and menu images. -Numerous tweaks to enhance and improve gameplay experience -New kings and lords(Unique weapon and armour for faction leaders. NOT buyable, but lootable when you are a king yourself). -Travelling gunsmiths sell firearms in taverns. Expensive things, but worth their money. -New weapons and armour(the medieval native items are vanished and only some axes, clubs and lances remain) -New troop trees. Every kingdom has some unique units(see below) -Tweaked and changed bandits. Apart from the new equipment, they are tougher and stronger, making gameplay more difficult(not for the experienced players, though)
The mod is in -a very advanced- beta stage, so there are things to include, improve, change and fix. To my knowloedge there are no bugs(certainly nothing game-breaking), but you certainly will find sth. Now, my idea was to make this mod different. So, if you have comments, criticism, suggestions, want to offer help of tell me sth I forgot, apart form doing so in the comment section, you can send me a PM, in which you say whatever you want to say about the mod in a well-written text(regardless the size) and I will post it in the articles sections under your name(and of course take your suggestions into cosideration)
Kingdom Unique Units
Holy Swadian Empire:
Swadian Dragoons. Agile Cavalry Units, equiped with a pistol and a sword, they are extemely good at scouting, hit and run tactics or charge at light infantry or ranged units.
Nordland:
Noble Cavalry. Members of nordic nobility, they are light armoured, but extemely good in melee combat and very capable riders. They can be use as scouts, or for outflanking mavouvres.
Vaegir Tzardom:
Mountain Warriors. These fierce warriors are extremely useful. They are excellent bowmen, agile fighters, even they are heavily armoured and very good in close combat.
Rhodokian Union:
Conquerors.Heavy Cavalry. Excellent armour and very good melee fighters.
Rodeleros. Heavy infantry. Excellent armour and exquisite fighters.
Khergit:
Khan's Guard. Well armoured infantry. Elite warriors, who use a variety of weapons. Very good in close combat and deadly in formation.
Sarranid Sultanate
Bedouins. Lightly armoured cavalry, they ride their fast camels. They use muskets and scimitars and they can be used as scouts and in surprise attacks and ambushes.
Janissaries. Elite fighters. Lightly armoured, but excellent marksmen and melee fighters. Deadly when they are in a tight formation.
