SyncFreeSpace 2 mod | Released Jul 1, 2006Two years after narrowly escaping death in an uncharted nebula, three mercenaries are hired to escort a duo of freighters to the Betelgeuse system. It quickly becomes clear that this is no ordinary mission; pirates beset them every step of their journey, wave after wave, not responding to hails or backing off even when the GTVA steps in. Then they reach their destination. You lose control of your ship, a subspace tunnel opens... Propelled into a distant galaxy populated by beings alien and yet disturbingly familiar, the mercenaries struggle to live long enough to reunite with any other survivors. But something's waiting just out of sight, watching them, recording their movements as they creep through the graveyard of the stars... There are many secrets buried here.

If anyone has read my entery on the Transend mod, I'm having the same problem with this mod too! It's the same FREAKING deal!!! I install it CARFULLY following what the read-me file is telling me to do, but when I click on the ready room, the very same this happens; NOTHING!!!!!!! It's the exact same deal as Transend; I installed and RE-installed the mod and went over the read-me file MULTIPULE times, BUT IT STILL WON'T WORK!!!!!!!!!!! WHY IS IT THAT NOTHING EVER WORKS ANY MORE????!!!!!! If I can't get this mod to work, it will drive me insane even more!!!
Well, i got intro this mod (finally) and ive hit a dead end. On your 3rd mission with Phi 1 and 2, whe nyou jump through the node and get an "incoming transmission" screen, It is all black. I can't see or do anything.
I can hear stuff going on, though.
Okay, its on my comp, and FS2 open. I put it in its folder, the command line is -mod C:\Games\Freespace2\Sync\
Its doesnt show on the campaign list. I run its with FS2, FS2 Open, and such. Help!
I cant seem to download SCP... I went to the site, i just cant find the download... :'( i wanna play dis mod.
1. In first mission unknown ship is Ulysses.
2. In first mission in subspace too.
3. That Vasudan Superdestroyer also.
Do i need to download another mod and where from?
That's caused by a data table conflict. It shouldn't happen if you follow the installation instructions in the readme. Put the Sync VP in its own folder and create a shortcut to the FS2 Open exe and in the commandline type '-mod (name of the folder you put the Sync VP in)' without the quotes.
NICE! It really pays off to concentrate on the story. We've seen too many no brainers what comes to that department.

This mod gets my thumps up.
I'm pretty sure the mod directory isn't meant to be absolute, so try just using -mod Sync and see if that works.
Ergh, I just realised how many times I used 'now' in that news post. *bangs head on desk*
Yes, some publicly released ones. Nothing unique to the campaign though.
