SWAT: Elite Force is a massive overhaul of SWAT 4: The Stetchkov Syndicate, making it into a more realistic tactical police simulator.
The mod attempts to immerse the player in making the best out of tough situations and identifying threats during firefights in an effective manner. Note that this mod requires SEF v7.0 and is intended purely as a CO-OP experience.
All relevant information are given in the SEF_PID Readme file.

Installation:
- Simply extract and place the SEF_PID folder inside the SWAT 4 folder
- To play CO-OP, don't forget to click on GenerateMD5 and get a friend to host a server

Key changes:
- All vanilla maps have been overhauled. There are now fake suspects you must arrest.
They look almost identical to standard suspects, except that they will
always have a Colt Python on their hand (and a pair of glasses usually).
They are never aggressive and will always comply; treat them as another civilian.
Similarly there are also fake civilians, which look almost identical to
standard civilians, except that they have a concealed weapon.
Maps also have an increased number of suspects, as well as the possible suspect spawn locations.
- The only objective in a mission is to neutralise all suspects. Hence you are no longer required to
arrest all civilians, nor will you automatically fail a mission when a hostage dies (you will still receive a large penalty).
However do beware of the fake civilians.
- Large rework to the penalty system. For example, there are new penalties for injuring civilians and fake suspects.
See the Leadership.ini file for the specific details.
- Suspects are noticeably more aggressive. They will fire without hesitation towards you and the hostage.
- Rules of engagement are now disabled while suspects are disoriented (flashbanged, gassed, stung,
peppersprayed).
- The guns in general feel much more visceral and violent. They now have improved weapon models & sound effects,
and have a higher probability of bullet ricochet and larger recoil when hipfiring.
Handle them with utmost care.
- Major improvement to the weapon handling of pistols and shotguns. For example, pistols have noticeably smoother
weapon transitions and increased stopping power (making them a viable secondary weapon).
- All tactical gears now have improved equip speed. Stinger grenades and C2 breaching charges have received many quality of life changes,
including reduced damage radius and increased stun radius.
- Most headgear and armors have also been buffed. For example, the riot helmet and ceramic armor now have immunity against sting grenades.
Another example is that gas masks are immune to flashbangs (this applies to enemies as well).
This information is given in each piece of equipment's description.
- To compensate for the overall buffs, the tactical gear sections have been revamped.
For example, the number of tactical gears you can equip has been reduced from 6 to 3.
- Closing doors now have a smaller range, so you'll expose yourself when trying to close doors.
- Command interface has been simplified and upgraded with more options, such as calling out for traps and suspects.
- Minimal HUD for weapon reticles and magazine count
- Updated Weapon and Armor models, as well as texture and sound. (Check the thanks section at the end for reference).
- As a personal note, I want the mod to be played without using melee (by default, the B button is now for
checking locks). The player is therefore given a pepperspray can by default. If you don't like this idea, you can always
simply change the hotkey).

I like the idea of it, but why all fake suspects will have a Colt Python? It be a lot harder if they could have any pistol
