Supreme Battletech 3025

After years of waiting on a Battltech based RTS game, I finally decided to do my own mod.

It will be totally based on Battltech 3025 Universe. There will only be the orignal Mechs as they are in the Technical Readout 3025. The same counts for the space crafts and vehicles. 

I'm also planning to introduce a logistic system. Mechs will have a limited number of amunition and have to be refilled once they are out of ammo.  This will add a new dimension to SupCom warfare.

This mod is still at its beginning.I expect the first beta for release about spring 2008.

I'm still looking for people who might be interessted in joining this projekt.

Cause people kept asking about the mod, I decided to give a first impression and uploaded a part of the mod which gives a single mech
It's  a crusader.
It still has no textures and no unit image in the I'm working on it.
The crusader is build in the UEF tech 3 landfactory and comes with all the normal weaponary expect the srms and only shoots ground targets. I havn't balanced it into the real game. 

As of where I'am with the mod. 

I got most of the modells done and I'm starting with the animation right now. I got about 30 different modells inclueding Archer, Atlas, Blackjack, Bushwacker, Catapult, Challenger,Demolisher, Executioner, Grashopper, Goliath, Jenner....  And so on. I'm still focusing on inner sphere 3025 tech.

I'm still looking for people to help with the textures. I'can give you the UV maps. So if someone wants to help. Your welcome.

I hate to be a Buzzkill, but the Bushwacker isn't a 3025 mech. In the TROs it gained wide use in 3058 and was considered prototype phase in 3055. Thats quite a time difference for it to be included.

Though it has become one of the iconic mechs for the Battletech Universe along with the Timber Wolf (Mad Cat) and the Vulture (Mad Dog)

I'm curious though are you just making a battletech faction to play against the existing 4 that GPG made? or are you intending to hash out individual factions with faction based mechs. Like Kurita (Draconis Combine) use Dragons, Panthers, Centurions, a customized Catapult (3 PPCs really cool idea).

I was working on the other idea for a Battletech mod for Supcom, but my help dropped out from under me (not much of a modeller and can code somewhat) I think my guys still have models laying about some may be half finished but we were looking more at the 3050 timeline area and we're going to replace existing factions with CBT ones (Aeon for Cappellans, UEF with FedCom, Cybran with Draconis Combine) I had mechs for every tech level set aside for a tech tree as well as the idea of running a parallel Tank/Armor factory with the Mech Factory where mechs would be very slow to build and very expensive compared to the tanks for each tech level that way it'd be closer to what CBT should be where armor could play an important role along with air and mech troops. Infantry was my largest concern and I decided to have battle armor on the field despite its limited use at the time for CBT.
