Supreme Battletech 3025
After years of waiting on a Battltech based RTS game, I finally decided to do my own mod.
It will be totally based on Battltech 3025 Universe. There will only be the orignal Mechs as they are in the Technical Readout 3025. The same counts for the space crafts and vehicles.
I'm also planning to introduce a logistic system. Mechs will have a limited number of amunition and have to be refilled once they are out of ammo. This will add a new dimension to SupCom warfare.
This mod is still at its beginning.I expect the first beta for release about spring 2008.
I'm still looking for people who might be interessted in joining this projekt.

Cause people kept asking about the mod, I decided to give a first impression and uploaded a part of the mod which gives a single mech
It's a crusader.
It still has no textures and no unit image in the I'm working on it.
The crusader is build in the UEF tech 3 landfactory and comes with all the normal weaponary expect the srms and only shoots ground targets. I havn't balanced it into the real game.
As of where I'am with the mod.
I got most of the modells done and I'm starting with the animation right now. I got about 30 different modells inclueding Archer, Atlas, Blackjack, Bushwacker, Catapult, Challenger,Demolisher, Executioner, Grashopper, Goliath, Jenner.... And so on. I'm still focusing on inner sphere 3025 tech.
I'm still looking for people to help with the textures. I'can give you the UV maps. So if someone wants to help. Your welcome.

I'm working with Blender. I can use Autodesk (.dxf) files or .3ds 3d Studio files.
Hell yeah!! I really, REALLY want to see this finished. Your models are absolutely incredible... Unfortunately I neither have the time nor skill to help out. Sorry.

what are your skills? Scripting?
I could only do some basic scripting and any busywork you would need i.e. data entry, unit balancing, etc.
I did however find this website that has many basic models that you might be able to use as a starting point.

Right now I'm working on implementing the units in to the game. It's hard to get 5 different weaponsystems to work besides each other. Every weapon uses a turret but it's not a turret, kinda confusing.
Could you work on weaponfiles? Like creating an LRM or AC and outlay the basic structure? I could give you the basic structure of the Atlas to test it on.

Oh and I think I might have found a few more model files - what file type for the models are you using?
