We have made some updates to stridermountain.com, including the addition of a music player featuring the original music composed exclusively for the mod by the very talented David Mason at StainofMind. Press the play button and Crank up your speaker volume.
And finally a final map announcement...finally. The SM team have made a decision to develop one last map. This decision came about for two reasons: 1) to enhance the overall storyline by adding a twist to a cliff hanger ending (boo, bad pun!) and 2) give the player one last, action packed map to complete the StriderMountain journey. Stayed tuned for screens from the all-new and final map EXIT PORTAL.

Quick question, in the Strider battle at the End of Episode 2, you see a very large Mountain in the distance. This mountain is the area to which all striders from from in the battle. Is there any chance this is the same mountain from Strider Mountain? They look very similar. That would be really badass if you had planned that.

haha, never even realised this!!! but your right, and no, we didn't plan this at all. but its really funny that it turns out this way!!
don't know who exactly came with the idear of a strider MOUNTAIN. we had the idea of a strider factory, and we wanted to place it somewhere were it was hard to get in, what became a mountain, (maybe it had something to do with our PR guy TB, he is mountain climber, but, i really can't remember it anymore. we made so much changes in the story in the beginning that its hard to go back to that. better said, we don't even have all those story lines anymore. at least i just looked for them the other day and could find them anymore, not that that matters, but still...)

and to Flippedoutkyrii, thanks, we do work indeed 1,5 + year on this latest sp project of ours and i promise you, its worth the wait. were ending the beta testing stage, so, just hang in and you have 14 new large sp-maps to play with!!
