AT 30,000 FEET... you are almost 6 miles (9.7 km's) above sea level. The human body is not made for these conditions. Temperatures can plummet to -60F (-51C), the brain is starved for oxygen and each step is a new experience in pure agony. It's difficult to breathe. It's difficult to think. It's difficult to move. And you still have to endure another 444 feet (0.14 km's) to get to the peak. So much for the good news. STORYLINE: SURVIVE the SUMMIT ...The rebels are losing the battle against the strider onslaught that keeps growing. To help turn the tide of war you need to destroy the source of the Striders. That source is at the summit of what the rebels call, StriderMountain. There is only one way to get into the mountain geography and it's extremely dangerous terrain. The danger proves to be too much and you are forced way off target. Now, you must fight your way through the Combine Mountain Base Camp because it's the only entry to the mountain...

There were several overlooked mistakes and bugs with the initial release but now in version 3 there have been many improvements. Read More for Change Log (NOTE: Old saves should work with this version)

CHANGE LOG:
Fixed overall packaging of the mod.
Fixed a problem with the crosshairs not showing up.
Fixed a bug where two jeeps would spawn in the same place in map 4_sm_base_camp
Fixed a bug which was preventing the actors to speak during the cut scenes if the local language wasn’t set to English.
Created more room at the end of map 3_sm_propaganda to make it easier for the jeep to be driven into the tunnel.
Fixed a problem with map 6_sm_garrison which was causing problems with the levelchange to map7.
Added a missing Background Image.
Various other minor bug fixes.

change log?
please? I would love to try playing this mod again if the problems I'm thinking of have been addressed. I kind of gave up on it thanks to the problems I ran into.

Oh man, I can only forsee the awesomeness I am about to open...
...when the family's out of the room. And after I complete "The Citizen", which has the slowest gameplay in history. No, really: You only get weapons at certain points, even if the combine you just killed had said weapons.
for some reason when I get to level ascent, once i trying pick up the gravity gun the games stops working
