Welcome to the first update of storm here on ModDB, featuring the new Gameplay Footage and a Public To-Do list.
This Video shows Work-In-Progress Gameplay Footage in the destroyed Village which is placed in the early 30 minutes of the Game. You have to find your way through the buildigns and koreans to a generator. The Heartbeat sensor is your essential tool to cover your presence, while you sneak through the destroyed buildings to get a speical key from a sleeping enemy...
The heartbeat sensor is done in c++. Over simple raycast, the code checks if there is a enemy inside a angle of around 45°. If you aim directly on a Enemy, he gets logged on the Map. The Map is same as that Crysis one on the HUD. I brought that one over a few changes in the code onto the heartbeat sensor.
