I prefer the first one. More realistic towards Stargate.

There is the same poll on our website. For now, the first one is winning about 95%

I prefer the second choice. Very practical for me.

The first one for sure. Shields must only be visible in the area of impact with the projectile. It's canonic version.

Btw. Shield color of BC-304 is more dim. Check out videos on youtube of space combat from SG-1.

Don't worry. This is a great thing that our script works actually. We plan to change our effects soon.

I like version 1 the most. Both looks more true to the series and looks better in general

As everyone with knowledge has already told, the first is canon, sentence.

I'd say combine them a bit, having the second one but almost invisible, makes you barely see the shield and it would look almost like the 1st.

Also I wonder, could it be possible to add some code in the target field of the shortcut to make players decide what they want?
You could have either 1 oe 2 as default but with an additional small code in teh target field activate the other one.
A good side effect is if one of the shields is more graphic heavy then chgoosing the other one will reduce the requirements of running the game with ships with these shields turned on.

Or you coudl have twpo different downloads, each having it's own kind of shield.
But do note that on some ships the shield is supposed to be visible on like on Atlantis.

The version 1 is the most realistic Stargate shield whereas the second is the most practical. Yes, in fact the second is better for your gameplay whereas the first one. With the second version you know when the shield is activated whereas with the first you have to remember (Don't worry, the voice "Shield activated" is still here ! But the blue effect is not).

So please, select the best one. You have to thumbs up the comment you want.
