We'd like to thank everyone for helping us get to 1200 watchers, we appreciate all the support everyone has shown in the development of the mod and hope we can live up to the expectations in 2014!
The Sovereign is one of the two "titans" available to the Imperial Remnant, the other being the Executor. We're not 100% sure which method we're going to use to divide them, but one of two things will likely happen with it. The first would be to have the player choose to build either the Sovereign or the Executor and have one at a time, the other would be to make it possible to have both at the same time. I'm personally leaning towards the former, but we've yet to make a final decision.
In battle, the Sovereign is somewhat weaker than the Executor in terms of turbolaser batteries and ion cannons, however it makes up for this with a gigantic superlaser. So while this means the Executor can be better suited for confronting large amounts of smaller ships, the Sovereign is better at seiging a planet or taking on individual threats (like another SSD).
