Description
When the New Republic originally formed, its fleet lacked capital ships capable of outgunning Imperial Star Destroyers. This changed with the New Class Modernization Project. Although much shorter than Imperial warships, the Nebula class represents the pinnacle of New Republic military hardware.

No, it's a regular capital ship, it's shorter than the ISD. 1044 meters vs ISD's 1600.
