The music was taken from the original sources and ran through a sound board with offests and reverbing, as well as other DTS enhancements to bring the music from those early games up to par with what ppl expect today.

listening to this while installing armada 1 got me so hyped up!
glad you enjoyed it.. i really wanted to make it more atmospheric rather than a studio session so with all the sound board addons it really does sound like its being performed by a full orchestra.. (or as close that is as is possible)

So which games are you using it from? Iv noticed armada 1, SFC3, in one video i heard Klingon academy music? Is that properly in the game coz that sounds waaay better. Although obv only really suitable for the klingons.
A lot of the star trek movies have great music for casual or battle sequences. Star trek II and III have amazing scores that would add a really canon feel to the game.
