I've been playing SoA2 just to get some practice. SoA2 is a good mod but some of the work and detailing done by the STA3 team eclipses it - the Excelsior refit model (SoA2 doesn't have that), the Scimitar with ANIMATIONS!, actually including Titans and making the Defiant a cruiser instead of a capital. Not saying SoA2 is bad - I'll still play it, it just has different ideas while STA3 is more in tune with my own. While I anticipate the Borg being somewhat similar (at least in terms of assimilating my ships into the Collective) to how they are in SoA2, I still dread them. Especially if when engaging them in battle, you get the 'We are the Borg, lower your shields and surrender your vessels...' speech.
By the way, great end to a Let's Play series CptShack. Wiped out the Klingon resistance AND the pirates in one episode. GJ.

Nice vid and yes try to get away from silly animations that last for many seconds I would hate to see plenty of silly animations surrounding your ships on all 4 factions. Perhaps replace that with a little icon cycling over your ships and only visible in tac mode.
