I know these maybe closer to what Orion ships would be like but part of me can't help but to prefer Star Trek Online versions... something taboo here really but in STOs defense the KDF ships are really nice designs from Klingon, Orion, Gorn especially and Nausicaan ships all feel really unique to me. I feel the Klingon ships are really faithful to Klingon design. While the other races within KDF are all unique enough you feel it's more of a true alliance between races over the Federation.

Armada 3 - 2370-2380s
STO - 2409-2410

Orions had 30 years to develop new ship classes. Armada 3 introduced only classic designs, except their own Polaris class and their vision of Excalibur class.

Though, both Polaris and new Excalibur classes in their interpretation look like sleek 2390-s ships, such as vesta-class USS Aventine or Rhode Island refit.

It's a shame that Vesta is not included as part of Federation fleet or at least as hero or special (from unique shipyards) ship.

I suggested that a while ago before they put out the concept of shipyard anomalies and got a solid no. However, the afore mentioned shipyards have made an appearance so maybe there's hope yet?

Nah the way the shipyards work was kind of explained in the video on Gul Gaming. They don't have newer plans or schematics only things deemed obsolete. Meaning the shipyards is how you get the Contitution class plus all those TMP era ships

Description

The Orions are widely known for many things, the almost universally seductive nature of their females topping the list. But beyond their penchant for debauchery, the Orions are known also for smuggling and piracy - much of which is controlled by the deeply feared and ruthlessly efficient Orion Syndicate.

The Syndicate, however, does not hold a monopoly on the long-held Orion tradition of piracy. Many young Orions strike out to 'earn' their living independently, the more successful examples maintaining a balance between notoriety and remaining beneath the Syndicate's notice.

Now, with the Alpha Quadrant racked by conflict and chaos, the legendary pirates of Orion prowl the shipping lanes once more, growing bolder as they sense greater opportunities in the wind.
