Picard - "Tactical analysis, Mr Worf..."

Worf - "Fifty-two disruptor banks, twenty-seven photon torpedo bays, primary and secondary phased shields."

Riker - "She's not out for a pleasure cruise."

Picard - "She's a predator..."

I actually love this ship despite being a marry sue.
Bird of preys are normally small, weak shields and while they got tons of weapons for their size, the overall weapon amount and strength still pale compared to the main ships of the other factions.
Even the b'rel which took out the enterprise d was still skrewed the moment when its main advantage, the cloak got beaten.

And here we got the scimitar, this ship can still take on any other ship without cloak. Giving it 4 times more weapons than the sourveign or godlike shields was ridicilous, but i still love the overall idea of a beefed up b'rel.

I don't count the d'deridex since they lack the agility and they kinda weak for being twice as big a galaxy. The size of those was anyway one of their main weapons. I mean it is kinda unsettling when the enemy got a whole fleet of ships twice the size of your flagship.

Well, the size of the D'deridex is a deliberate illusion on the Romulans' part. In reality it only has about the same mount of mass as a Galaxy-class starship. The huge, swooping wings provide an enormous amount of surface area, giving the illusion of immense size. It's an intimidation thing.

And the D'Deridex is a beauty! Always loved her regardless of her strengths and weaknesses.
Which reminds me, has anyone considered introducing two sets, one type A and one type B. Like the Melak warbird or are all faction ships already set and done.

Mostly set and done, though there may be some model tweaking.

The Melak will be featuring in our Stellaris mod, Star Trek Infinities.

Can't wait for Star Trek Infinities, the Melak Warbird is a nice ship and perfect for the Ambassador's adversary role.

Now I can't stop thinking about how Dianna crashed both the Enterprise D and E.

Description

The human Shinzon grew up in the brutal desperation of the dilithium mines dotting the dark side of the planet Remus. The harsh environment instilled in him a tenacious resilience, a cunning survival instinct, and a seething hatred for the Romulan people and for his own humanity.

When the Romulan Star Empire entered the Dominion War in 2374 many Remans were conscripted to serve as assault forces. Shinzon fought with such distinction that he rose swiftly through the ranks, commanding Reman and Romulan forces in multiple major engagements, all of which were successful. With a stunning military career to his credit, Shinzon had a number of key military and political allies by the time the war ended.

With his newfound influence, Shinzon began plotting to overthrow the Romulan government. To this end, with his military and political allies looking the other way and covering his tracks, he commissioned the secret construction of a mighty warship to strike at the heart of his enemies.

The result was the Scimitar. Bearing the profile of a terrifying creature of the night, the Scimitar stealth dreadnought is one of the deadliest vessels ever to prowl the Alpha and Beta Quadrants. Immense but fast and manoeuvrable, virtually undetectable under cloak and carrying enough firepower to challenge entire flotillas without aid, the Scimitar is an almost unmatched combat craft.

The real horror of the Scimitar, however, lies in its murderous purpose - this deadly vessel is nothing short of a weapon of genocide, purpose-built to exterminate entire populations and leave whole worlds bereft of life in seconds. This makes the Scimitar a true terror to face.
