Ya well if this is set in DS9 era and the mod team are accurate with the Borg even with balancing, that means it will model roughly the battle of sector 001 style with hundreds of fed ships sexploding as a cube RARRRGHS its way to Earth
and THATS why I want to play as the Borg. They seem like an early game favorite until the other factions finally build up.
Oddly it's the other way around that we're planning it. fairly weak early on as a fledgeling collective. but with careful levelling of their cap ships, and as research is completed the galaxy will become a homage to their power. Perfection IS obtainable, and they mean to have it
Better build up fast or you will be crushed by the opposing factions. Btw does building Borg vessels like the last Star Trek mod for Diplomacy take up more fleet supply?
