No kiddin'? Though in my opinion the nacelles should remain red-blue but the structure of the ship should have more Borg tech.

Supposed to be reminiscent of the Armada assimilated vessels. It looks fine to me.

na it makes sense as the borg would convert a warp drive into transwarp drive, changing every aspect of its design to fit their ideals so the nacelles would be altered. plus it just looks like a proper assimilated ship now. good job guys

It took me a good two minutes to figure out it was an assimilated ship... I thought that wasn't going to be possible in SoaSE? Are we going to have custom models for assimilated ships now?! :D

If they do wind up doing that it will likely make the mod much larger since they have to create new model files for every ship.

actually a new model, but they utilize existing textures and that cuts down on the overheads.

Now that looks pretty cool. Like in the original Armada games, now the asimilated ships actually look the part.
Nice Work.

Will definitely make an assimilated ship fleet more intimidating not to mention making it more obvious how many of your ships have been taken over during an engagement.

Ooooooh very ominous and erie, love it! Would be so cool if you could add borg systems to the outer hull like in armada, dunno if the sins engine will allow that.

I wonder if it'd be at all possible to recreate what happens in Armada 2 when you assimilate ships.

Awesome work as usual, love the subtlety of the colour scheme. Is it possible to incorporate patches of Borg hull on the ships? And maybe brighten the nacelles a bit.

There are patches of borg structures on the ship...

Did you... did you look at the vessel?

I stand corrected, however since I didn't notice them initially it might be worth making them more prominent somehow. Perhaps enhancing the glow effect?

Now that I have taken a closer more thorough look I'd also note that some of the texture is a little askew where the pylons connect to the saucer section. Maybe some UV tweaking is called for.

By the way thank you for pointing out my mistake OhNoesBunnies!, I'm inferring from the way you went about it simply/friendlily letting me know was below your shrewd level of social interaction.

That was uncalled for, especially since he was right.. If you had looked at the image instead of skimping over it you'd have noticed it.

Also, pretty darn nice model and in my opinion it's done, I think if you put more emphasis on it you'll lose the real star-trek feel and go more for the bombastic "popping-eyeballs" effect.

In my opinion, well done!

Lol Wardath what a Jerk! And Yeah, I love how it looks right now. It sticks out just fine instead of being all glowy and lame like a lot of STO's work.

Eveningstar's right it was unnecessary and I apologise, I should have just ignored your comment at the end and moved on.
