I've been thinking: As you've stated several times before, Axanar will have an increased focus on individual and valuable ships in smaller fleets, with less available designs (due to Axanar-canon). Does this mean that you will increase polycount, details and effects and texture resolution for the vessels at hand, using the vacant resources?
Yes and we are already adding features such as lights to models, buzzard effects and alike, each ship is also rendered in much higher detail.
The models look BEAUTIFUL, and the on-board lights make them even BETTER!

But could you explain to me what buzzard effects are?
The bussard collectors are the ramscoops located at the front of the warp nacelles. So this most likely mean they'll be fully animated as befitting the visual style of the era.

Thanks a lot for elaborating, fellow humanoids! When I was watching Axanar I noticed these rainbow-ramscoops and found them very interesting and beautiful, but never got the hang on their function. Until now, I guess! :)

What I always ask me is, when the Axanar project shows the war between Klingons and Federation will the new mod also just contain these two factions or will there at least also (later) come Romulans and one or two other factions? I think Borg and Cardassians wouldn't fit to this era, but maybe Gorn?^^
Sorry for this (annoying) question, but we know too less about the new mod or Axanar in general, even I saw the film of course. The only good thing is, you can recycle a lot of things from CTA, because at least some of the Federation structures have the design of the 23rd century.^^
YES! definitely need a Romulan expansion later on down the road... Gorn would be pretty sweet, too! =D
