Star Trek: Armada III begins with the first stirrings of the Dominion War and allows players to take command of five unique factions, the United Federation of Planets, the Klingon Empire, the Romulan Star Empire, the Cardassian Union/Dominion Alliance, and the Borg Collective. Explore strange new worlds, seek out new life and new civilizations, and boldly go where no one has gone before.
After the last screenshot i decided that the Federation Drydock could use a big makeover
If you guys keep being so awesome, you'll inevitably break the internet.
I'm curious, are you planning to add worker bee style effects to the other races as well? Or is it something unique to the Feds?
its the plan :)
Basically everything that can be Possibly squeezed into this mod is planned XD .. If it can be done in the sins engine the expect it! Or at least, max will try, his ambition knows no bounds..
very very cool
PS, will the galaxy class and/or the sovereign class/enterprise-e seperate
also, will the prometheus class be added, the one with multi attack from VOY?
many thanks for all the hard work guys, please keep up the good work
you are kidding right?
he better be...
eh, did i miss something?
Check the old screenshots.
well ur better at coming up with this **** than me, sorry haven't been a member for long, i know that galaxy seperates but does the sovereign?
Also, will borg planets go greener as the social rank thing increases?
Okay, where to begin... Now, I could be wrong... very, very wrong. I was under the impresssion that the Sovereign saucer was never meant to separate. I don't recall it ever being mentioned as a feature in any of the movies that featured the Enterprise-E. John Eaves did draw up an impression of the capability however it was never called for. So let's say that Sovereign class was "fitted for but not with" saucer separation capability.
Second, a quick search of the images contained within this site, or viewing the dev diaries pertaining to the Federation, would have answered your questions. Yes, Galaxy class saucers will detach and act as a secondary vessel. The Prometheus is in and has multi-vector assault mode.
Lastly, I haven't played with the Borg for a bit as my current focus is maps and strings but I'm pretty sure there were a few screenshots of an assimilated planetary texture a while back too. I could be imagining things, as I've only just woken up, so take that with a grain of salt.
i dont think theres been any pictures of the assimilated planet textures yet but max said that he'll post some eventually
