welcome a sub-mod of STA3 with approval of creation, here you will be able to play a different take on the main mod as this mod will focus around the return of the borg, with different lore and play styles. Aimed for both PVP and PVE games this sub-mod is on going and being developed as we play, ideas are welcome come join in games and games with a storie setting new maps are currently being created for more in depth battles with the borg.Any ideas will be submitted for review. I have tried this mod a few times now, lowering graphics to the minimum, and it crashes all the time from system memory dumps. I appreciate the new ships, somewhat, I don't care for the dreadnaught Sovereign, that should've been the Galaxy X. Defiant and Galaxy X should have cloaks, but still, nothing. None of the multi-vector ships separate like the Galaxy and Prometheus, which sucks. The UI is glitchy, and my favorite maps are gone from the Armada Original like Galaxy at War. I like how the Dominion are separate from the Cardasians, I hated Armada AI taking both Cards and either both going Card or Dominion. Would've been nice to have a Dominion faction to relive the Dominion wars or hash out new ones. So unfortunately, I'm removing this and going back to Armada. I'll check it out again once you work out these game breaking bugs. Good work, hope to see it cleaned up.
every thing runs fin on my end and a couple friends to as a fed player I love all the changers the new sovereign dread is good and the Prometheus is much better as a cruiser without ulti vestor is a gimmick that's all never used it much or at all
haven't had any issues like that...mod been running fine with the latest version playing with friends...Galaxy X was only ever in one episode...and its files arent in the game itself...UI looks fine to me?...and even looking at the Final Version of the Original mod...I couldn't find the map your talking about? unless you meant Galaxy of Conflict?...the Saucer Sep and MVAM were removed for Game Stability...not enough Dominion ship models exist to make a Full Dominion faction...so the mod creator had to make do
galaxy x is kinda redundant when the soverign came onto the scene they wouldnt go back to an older expensive cruise liner of a ship compared to a battleship designed fro war in a time when the borg are attacking. I understand ur love for the ship but in contect to the backstory of the mod it doesnt make sense rather say your prefrence is to have the galaxy x.
Regarding the crashes have u tried seeing if reinstalling the mod doesnt fix it cause i have playe it worth a big map online single player at medium graphics with max ships and everything it didnt crash once until i actually closed the game once. The multi vector is just not something that works so well in this game cause it become two entities that cant retreat quickly and ends up being fodder if i am multitasking so i understand why it was removed. the UI is almost exactly the same to Armada 3 with a few changes and such and it has never given anyone i know who has played it any problem besides if u are new and not sure what each thing is for but u learn quickly if u play(coming from someone that got this game last year and who doesnt like messing around due to me breaking bridge commander on my laptop)and i am not sure why u are complaining about armada having both card and dominion as one faction when u have stated that this mod sepperated it. I am sorry to hear u dont want keep playing but a lot of ur problems really sound likee its just ur personal issues and not related to the mod as a whole
also remmeber to have the main Armada 3 mod at the bottom of the mod text in the files like so

oh and the galaxy sep was removed as only 1 ship ever used it, the cloack was only on 1 ship Uss defiant only
funny cause this the only report of it crashing we've play servel multipul games from small to large maps with no issue if your still having problems with the game pleas drop into the serve for more advise and map sergestions to the Ui is still being worked on too, and to have the dominokn as a seperate faction would require models bening made which i dont have funds like that to get them saddly, as far as game breaking bugs youve lost me on that one as even the dev team member from Armada 3 have stated how stable it is

Hi, looking nice however it's crashing the game a lot; simply if this is to be at all working it can't be crashing game random times and at the same time often. Its nice but this makes it unplayable ...

whats your in game settings? whats size fleet? how many player? how many AI ? also remeber sins1 in an old game now and sta3 is already a large mod that has its own crashes and adding a sub-mod to it on top if that will make more over balanced. im doing my best to make the game more stable and for the players i have on my dicord and testers im not getting many crash reports if yoy wish to drop into my dicord we can then gather more infomation the discord is Unimatrix Zero
