A continuation of the SSF Mod that was so successful in Swat4 and later in TSS. The original team members may have moved on but I have been handed the source code to continue the project and address some of the issues present in the last release(3.1). I will be fixing the AI issues that causes CTD's and will also be speeding up the friendly AI's deployment of tacaid for the first release. I also have some ideas that I will be implementing following this first release and I'm sure people will be glad to see what I will have for you. Untill the next update....cya around..

A quick heads up guys, my server is down..one of the drives in the raid array has decided its gonna die all downloads/services are currently suspended untill we can get this fixed which I'm afraid to say probably won't be quick..but we will resolve this as soon as humanly possible...


ok guys in a bid to get this moving a little faster I'm releasing the beta as 3.2 and any bug fixes and/or additions will be patched in future, this is mainly due to the lack of volunteers to test, so this will become the first release from me, I hope you like what I've done so far..

New features include:

Unlimited wedges (99)
Added a new map to the campaign - Precinct HQ
Speed up the AI at deploying nades on room breeching
Made the nade launcher hold 6 rounds at a time
Nade launcher has been made less powerful
Ammo pouch adds ammo for primary and secondary weapons

Fixes:

Fixed the crash to desktop from SSF 3.1
Insta-rip delay halved from 0.5 sec to 0.25 sec

Additions:

New custom made launcher application that will start Vanilla, TSS, and SSF mod
Launcher includes built in chat
Launcher includes built in access to new maps, these self install also
Launcher also handles all future updates of the mod

The nightvision is missing, You should have just kept the gameplay's speed the same because it felt too fast(almost like I'm playing unreal tournament instead of a Swat game), And some of the sound FX was missing(like the sound of rain pouring outside in the first level of the campaign mode).

If low-light equipment worked the way it does in almost every FPS I've ever played, we (Americans) would drop pallets of it on enemy positions instead of bombs and missiles. After the gear was distributed and the red-on-red casualties levelled off, we could just walk up to the survivors and beat them to death with rifle butts. It's hard to fight when you have a splitting migrane and can't tell a T-80 from an M-60 at thirty paces.

Having said that, the Green Blur from SWAT4 TSS is in a class completely by itself. I equipped it once, laughed for ten minutes, restarted the mission and haven't used it since. The nerfed grenades that have the incapacitating effect of three rapid sneezes are bad enough, and the AA-battery powered taclights are worse, but I never would have noticed the missing low-light gear if you hadn't mentioned it.

Another thing I see wrong with this is the way your team A.I stacks up on doors screwing up room clearing procedures.

the 6 rounds for the launcher is just an interim change till I can get a new model and do the animations, like I have said in the summary above this is in fact a work in progress build and I would expect people to respect that please..

This is ModDB, home of fourteen completed and playable mods and two thousand dead links, pre-alpha screenshot albums and untextured renders "with more coming soon; we need modellers, texturers, coders, level designers and animation artists and then we're good to go."
