The aim of this mod is to add in the old locations from ShoC and Clear Sky, and to provide an enhanced and extended gameplay experience while (mostly) sticking to the vanilla storyline. At this point, the mod (v0.45 alpha)contains 37 locations total, approx. 200 weapons, lots of new armors, items, artifacts and anomalies.

Someone does not realize that having a job could earn money for... say, a better PC. You know, one that can handle FRAPS and games well.

Yes. Downvote the brutally honest comment that makes a lot of sense (BerZerk's).

smrtphoneusr has said on several times he works 3 different jobs. Not everyone can land a well paying job, and have several thousand dollars lying around to afford a decent PC.
And when he isn't working to earn a living, hes spending his free time developing this, so cut the guy some slack will you?

just leave the kids alone. Once they grow up and have a family and a house they'll probably realize there are more important things to spend their paychecks on than upgrading an otherwise perfectly fine computer. Hopefully they'll be less arrogant and moronic, too... xD

check out a program called Dxtory. it's similar to fraps except it's less cpu intensive and you can record and play in different resolutions.

Yea put it this way, my system is aging and will probably not play this mod on high settings, but the cost of upgrading my cards is like 1200.00!
I cant afford it right now, ugh.

Not only are you not grateful for what @smrtphoneusr is doing but also you are criticizing him for not having a high-end computer. You know having a high-end computer shouldn't be a life's goal (unless you are a video-games addict that has no life besides playing video-games all day long).

Good job SMRT.

Yea I have 2 jobs, although I am also studying at the same time so I have to split my time between playing games work, and studying for my future life...So yes, I am saving money to buy myself a new rig sometime in the near future but for now, my fairly descent rig is fine for now. Also I loved how in Clear Sky and SOC the atmosphere was creepy and nerve wreaking and now I can experience this all over again in the underground scenes in S.M.R.T.E.R. Keep up the good work smrtphoneusr and like you said ignore those immature little kids. Their parents buys their **** any ways...

You should have an NPC walk or run through the fog, this would bring out the dynamic aspect a lot more

Volumetric fog has always been a rarity in Stalker, in fact, it was only used once in all 3 games: in Clear Sky's Agroprom Underground level.
