Nice texture, but the model could use some more detail imo. Actually, can this game handle more detail? I mod Empire at war which is a far older game, yet I only see lower poly models for sins mods.

How many ships can EAW render at once?

Sins can handle the same models EaW can; in fact SoGE has several models that are also present in Republic at War. I'm also a past modder of EaW, I played back during the original release and for a short while after FoC, so I'm certain you're also aware of how few units are on screen at once during EaW battles. Sins however, has all units on the screen at once; this can mean hundreds, or even thousands, of entities active at a given time. As such, keeping models lower poly can be a huge resource saver, in particular for a ship such as the ISD.

Downvoted for valid critisism, got to love idiotic fanboys. So dumb...

I get your point, though if the game (don't know if it does) uses things like pop in or reduced model detail from a distance then one can still use higher quality models. EAW doesn't have this as it doesn't have any need for it, this game however I can imgine uses it.

Sins does not have a dynamic LOD system, it's one of the many reasons why it can chug late game really bad.
