Huor and Húrin were brothers and the sons of Galdor the Tall of the House of Hador and Hareth of the Haladin.
Huor died during Nirnaeth Arnoediad, killed by an Orcish poisoned arrow that hit him in the eye. He was father of the famous Tuor, who accomplished great deeds and fought during the Fall of Gondolin.
Húrin survived the Nirnaeth and was carptured, tortured and cursed by Melkor, himself and his son Túrin and his daughter Nienor, tragic stories narrated in The Tale of the Children of Húrin (Narn i Chîn Húrin).
