I'm probably getting way ahead of myself by making this, but I never liked the brush based rocket in the original game. I never really liked any of it to be honest. So I decided to used SoHL to my advantage.

Brush mean world geometry. The rocket in retail was made in a map editor. Ours is a model.
not bad but the rockets speed is static IMO its would be slowly accelerating by the time its completely out of the silo.

I did add acceleration to the rocket as it accends to the sky. However one drawback of using the func_train is acceleration is immediate and not gradual. so it would take many entities to make it look smooth. I could use an animation for the rocket to make it accelerate much more smoothly. I might change it sooner or later.

What's with the unsuppressed MP5? I'm pretty sure the early one sounded all suppressed,which would be consistent with early versions of the game and the appearance of the weapon itself. Or you could just make it consistent with the third person model but I'm not sure if that's alpha/beta-friendly at all.
That's just the one he was testing and fooling around with. We have a red HEV version that is pretty much done.
Very early versions of the mp5 used a crappy sound that almost sounded like a laser gun. In the first segment of the indeep video you can see the player shooting at the helicopters flying over. The sound the gun makes is very similar to this one. We will use this sound file, just because it sounds the best. And the alpha mp5 model used was for an alpha weapons pack I am working on. We will ship the game with e31998 weapons.

You should add a weapon-alts addon if people would rather have the alpha sleeves (not the red HEV, but y'know what I mean.)
