How do you plan on releasing Shaft?

The plan is to release the mod in 3 sections; Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3. Each release has game play for each day in the Half-Life time line. So you should expect the first release to start at the tram ride, and end after the rocket launch.

When will Shaft be released?

While a release date isn't exact yet, we are just sometime in 2016 or 2017. Once we know that a release is nearing will will let you know. ;)

Why is Shaft being released in 3 sections, and not one full release?

Because we want people to play something between now and the next decade. We all have personal lives, and we can't always focus on the mod. This is not our full time job! If we were receiving a livable wage to work on this mod, then we would be working on this 24/7 most likely. Since we can't work on the mod all the time, but we still really want people to play the mod, and enjoy it, we decided to split the mod up into 3 releases.

Will the maps be based on the alpha or the beta?

We use both alpha areas, and beta areas. I believe we use more beta areas than alpha since certain areas in the alpha were just box rooms, and hallways.
