The long awaited Shattered Worlds Freelancer mod has been released. A talented DevTeam from over 6 different Freelancer communities have gathered to work on this ambitious project. Collectively, the team combined modding knowledge and lessons learned from numerous mods/servers, they picked the best concepts from other mods; which were implemented, improved and further expanded. The entire game has been overhauled from the ground up to create a cutting edge balance scheme. The DevTeam also added hundreds of weapons/equipment items, and many new ships, with over 160 individual craft at present, many of which are exclusive to the mod. The end result is one of the most balanced and highest quality Freelancer modifications ever conceived. If you are a new player or an old player tired of normal Freelancer mods, Shattered Worlds has something for you. Come, try it for yourself. The final release of this mod due to lack of player interest on our privately hosted server, includes server files and an Open SP patch.
The download for the Shattered Worlds:War-Torn version 1.67 client. Voted one of the Top 100 mods of 2009 by ModDB.com and featured in PC gaming magazines such as PC Gamer and PC Action, the SW:WT mod is one of the premiere Freelancer mods currently available. It doesn't matter if you're new to Freelancer or a veteran who has been around the block, the SW:WT mod has something for you. Try it, you will not be disappointed! (1.67 is a full release, not a patch, but due to low demand contains only a few new easter-egg systems not included in 1.64)

"our privately hosted server" too far away from open world (yellow lag) - i think only this is bottleneck.
Just move it to regular datacenter - Hetzner for example and all will be good.
Any servers running this mod are run by individuals as we no longer host a professional server as there was not enough players to justify it. Connections can be expected to be of a corresponding quality.

Hi, guys! Is this really 1.67? After CLEAN install, i get just 1.64 version, but NOT 1.67 - it`s displayed in main menu!
