WARNING

In your base folder you should have no extra asset pk3 files with other mods (this can cause crashes).
only :
assets0
assets1
assets2
assets3
optional assets from Jedi outcast should be renamed to
0-assets0
0-assets1
0-assets2
0-assets3
Any extra model or map pk3 files should also be renamed to
0-(pk3 name)
this means you add "0-" before the pk3 name ,this will ensure no essential files are overwritten to prevent crashes and increase stability
.Evolution of Combat mod comes as an Installer and will automaticly install the mod to
C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData
this is the default location
.
If you have Installed Jedi Academy in a different location you will need to set the path in the installer setup.
Steam Version
==============
Same as the normal windows version, but you'll need to navigate to
C:/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/Jedi Academy/GameData (in your Steam folder).
To run it, right click on Jedi Academy in your game library, and select "Set Launch Options" in the General tabAdd +set fs_game "Evolution_of_Combat_III" to it, and it will run Evolution_of_Combat_III whenever you start Jedi Academy.Note: If you play other mods or base, you will need to remove +set fs_game "Evolution_of_Combat_III" whenever you want to play that mod, then add +set fs_game "Evolution_of_Combat_III" whenever you want to play Evolution_of_Combat_III.
Installing Textures_EoCII
=======================
windows and steam
Drag and drop the Textures_EoCII.pk3 into the
Evolution_of_Combat Folder
Updates
=======
Updates will come as installers.exe and are installed in exacly the same way as the main mod
Final note
=========
Evolution of Combat is a jedi academy total conversion singleplayer and multyplayer and requires the latest Jedi academy update to run and also requires jedi outcast installed with the jedi outcast latest update to run
the latest updates for Academy and Outcast can be found here

I may be stupid but I can't seem to find the download link...

Cant get it to work, :( it stays stuck at the initial loading screen installed the game normally in c/programfiles(x86)/lucasarts/....... . I use the Razor1911 crack to play it normally but when trying to launch it via the mods menu or the shortcut your installer left me im always stuck at the loading screen.
That is until i click with my right mouse buttons for a couple times then the games force close's itsself.
Anyway around this ? i also checked the instal tutorial i do have the assets files assets0.pk3 assets1.pk3 and assets2.pk3 but i do not have the assets3.pk3.
Hope anyone can help me with this would love to try this mod :)
The mod wont work if your running an illegal crack(Razor1911 crack) and you have not updated the game (i do not have the assets3.pk3).
You need a clean legal fully updated copy.
and how can i get that? any sugestion?
Will the GOG version work?
question does the texture pack for this work with the new version or no?
For some reason, it keeps on telling me OpenAL32.dll is missing from my computer, no matter how many times I reinstall it it wont work.

everytime i try to select my saber it wont let me join???, or when it says choose class its all blanks someone help!!!!

sorry I didn't have a profile...okay. I'm not sure what the problem is that I'm having but I think I've installed EoC. I did the installer for it, had it set for the correct location in the steam files and then went to the jedi academy, set the launch option to what you specified then launched the game and it just launched regular jedi academy...I'm not sure if you still update these questions but I hope so as I'm dying to try out this mod!
I havent been able to play this for ages. i cant quite figure out how to play the badass looking game i see in all the videos. when i launch the game all i get is the options to choose. Initiation, quest and galaxy map. all of which lead to what seems like chapters from the main game with absolutely nothing added to the saber combat. very confusing.
yep mine is exactly the same. No idea why. Did exaclty as specified in instructions. I have it on steam btw.

Hi, i'm having a bit of trouble with this mod. I have the steam version of the game, you see, and I can't get this to work. I redirected the files to the GameData folder, but every time I try to load up the game, I get an error saying:
11200 files in pk3 files
Couldn't load default.cfg
Can anyone help me on this? I haven't seen a single other person with this problem. Thanks :D

No errors just cant find the game!. i installed, moved, and screwed with everything it just loads up the normal game with nothing in the mods spot. IDK WHAT TO DO, Please help.

Actually i fixed it but it wont load default.cfg
yeah same here, and i have the steam version.

I'm literally debating on how I should rate this. You don't have a download of the Textures_EoCII.pk3 file,so,there are barely any textures for anything,and all there is is a gray box. Is there a download? Or am I gonna have to go on a year long journey for this file?
EDIT: I tried getting Jedi Outcast. Still won't work. I'm disappointed that you need TWO DAMN GAMES to play a single mod. I've tried everything,and it just refuses to load the textures,even though I did EXACTLY as the tutorial said.

I may just be stupid right now but I have the steam version I downloaded the pro edition and I double click in WinRAR go to the EoCIII download screen and entered C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Jedi Academy\GameData and run it. Then I enter in +set fs_game "Evolution_of_Combat_III" and it doesn't load. Am I doing something wrong. Please reply.
Wait no found it out... I should click the EOCIII application right in front of my face. Wait now it says my PC doesn't have OpenAL32.dll (Made an account)
I fixed OpenAL32.dll but... now it says can't load default.cfg.
