No, this will not replace the refit. This will either be an optional add-on, with an optional research button to change to the Constitution refit, or maybe just get a free 1 or 2 at game start and not buildable, the buildable scout will be the refit..

Next up, a possible original Miranda class such as USS Reliant. I remember years ago that it was possible for a Miranda class to overcome A Constitution class even though the Constitution is a cruiser while Miranda was a "light" cruiser I believe.
