Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.

Looks like it's automated, though. Or at least armoured. So sniper suppression won't work.
I wonder if the cannons will be able to hit ground targets.

and it fits the ECA...
imagine it shooting down Ivan in his aircrafts...
it's like new year or 4th of July for our American friends!!...

The actual basic Skyshield system only has two.

Of course, that system is a bit older.
And given that the overall gameplay from ZH on kind of implies that missiles are lagging behind anti missile systems, I could see someone jury rigging another gun onto the thing rather than bother with the SAM system.

Guns > Missles. Faster reaction time, you cant outrun gunfire, and no effective countermeasures.

The same question: will ECA warships getting them? These are originally designed as ship-borne CIWS at first place.

It's been asked before, and the answer was 'yes'. I think it'll either be a different tier of AA or for a different general.

Description

The Sky Shield is a light-weight short range air defence system of Swiss and German origin. The central piece of a battery is the highly advanced fire control radar which can autonomously detect and track airborne targets. The moment an enemy aircraft moves into range, it will be greeted by the three 35mm guns that fire a special programmable round marketed as the 'Birdshot' for its ability to burst into a wave of shrapnel in front of the target, causing catastrophic damage to even the most heavily armoured airframes within seconds.
