Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.
First, the Recycler itself can be outfitted with a crude but nonetheless terrifying microwave projector which can incinerate ground units and structures at long range.
Long live the Odin!

The Heat bears down upon you infidels!
GLA sciencists(the ones who do experiments on chickens) tried to mass PopCorn but they found a better use for it.
Ding! "Ugh again! where is that coming from!" love that quote thanks seoras
Come to think of it, why CANT the Wotan fire at ground units and structures?
Due to the intricacies of the weapon control systems, the limited depression of the beam projector and 'humanitarian' concerns, the 'heat ray' can only be fired at airborne targets.

Humanitarian concepts: GLA has negative amount of them.
Will it hit only one target or everything in a line? Also, if everything, then really everything or just hostiles?
So GLA fixed the depression problem? :(
If they did the driver is in the way of the microwawe.
...an unfortunate side-effect of their 'solution', no doubt^^
would you like your soldiers crispy? or medium rare?
