Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.

Description

First campaign I uploaded in Moddb for C&C Generals Zero Hour Mod Rise of the Reds 1.85.I will upload more soon (I plan totally 5 campaigns, that is one story). This and next campaigns are not made in old fashioned way. From three missions you play one mission as other nation so you can see the story from other perspective.

I think it would but you will have access to special powers and units you shouldn't. So missions may have lower difficulty.

i had the latest official patch for rotr and did not want to downgrade, therefore i had to use rotr 1.86 version. played first mission and is really good, it reminds me how cool still is this mod. still i dont think the mission was supposed to be this easy, meaning china didnt attack me with nothing except the nuclear missle and i had acces to support powers like topol-M and could build unlimited units like these to fire from distance.
Nevertheless i really enjoyed your content.

I am glad it worked on 1.86. Yeah, maybe it is a bit easy but I wanted it to be playable even by players with lower experience. Looking forward to your comments about second and third mission.

i just played all of them. second mission is awesome too, rarely i see missions like these in rotr to try to put to good use units usually not used too much in gameplay.
third mission was really interesting and it resembles operation black angel from official generals usa campaign but in gla perspective.
i like your ideas of what missions should be and i like your maps, the terrain, the textures you use.
where you could improve i think is in AI behaviour, for example in second mission i was not attacked not even once by land. i enjoy also easy missions, i play for relaxation, not necessarily competition or challenge but i expect at least to be attacked by some small waves of units every 4 to 5 minutes.

Great campaign bro, played it on 1.87 and I loved the 3rd mission with GLA attacking the American convoy. It was like giving USA a taste of its own medicine with what they did to the GLA on that snow mission with the commanchees.

Cant wait for the next campaign and future GLA missions!

Thank you for your comment. I am surprised that it is working without any problem on 1.87. Did you have access to Anarchist or Hook Gunship? I am asking because some units can ruin the mission (not exactly these but in future missions).
