I think you get the idea... it will be a beam weapon.
The dome on top is very NOT cybran. Maybe you could make the turret more spiky and similar to the megalith turret. Right now this could fit alot more Aeon than cybran. Just my opinion.

Yeah I was thinking something similar but I haven't designed it yet, and your right the dome would work well for the Aeon.
ditto on what anubis said. it does not look very cybran. if the dome was replaced and a large turret simular to the ones on the megalith i would look very cybran like. maybe even the monkeylords turret
In addition, the dome also gives the impression of a dual anti-air and anti-ground weapon. Which would be fun to see, but probably hard to code and execute
It use to observe of stars, only not to kill the enemy)
