Play as the Northern Dúnedain to reunite the ancient Kingdoms of Arnor and Gondor in Divide & Conquer V3!

Script Conditions:

  • Aragorn's quest must be completed to the point where the Oathbreakers spawn, at this point, you will be able to press SHIFT + R to see the objectives for the Reunited Kingdom
  • Aragorn must be present in Anorian (Minas Tirith region)
  • Annuminas, Fornost Erain, and Amon Sul must be owned by Northern Dunedain
  • Minas Tirith, Osgiliath E, and Osgiliath W must be owned by Gondor, Dol Amroth, or the Northern Dunedain
  • Breeland and the Shire must be owned by Breeland or the Northern Dunedain
  • the Northern Dúnedain must be allied to the Breeland and Gondor

Script Effects:

  • Gondor and Breeland join the Northern Dúnedain - if Dol Amroth is allied, they will also join, if they are not allied, they may become hostile
  • Aragorn gets the Crown of Elendil ancillary, a new strat model, and the Gondor bodyguard
  • Gondor & Dol Amroth units are unlocked (they have been removed from the Beacon of Hope)
  • Gondor militia units can be trained everywhere that Dúnedain militia can be trained
  • Gondor and Dol Amroth generals inherit Gondorian strategy map models, Northern Dúnedain and Breeland generals inherit Arnorian strategy map models

This submod does not make use of any external folders or batch files for file swapping (which would require the used to restart the game when prompted by an in-game message). This means that the Northern Dúnedain faction name, colors, and interface will remain unchanged. The end user may change all of these things on their own at any time (they are all save-game-compatible). In order to...

  • ...change the faction name - edit data/text/expanded.txt line #237 from "{TURKS}Northern Dúnedain" to whatever you like, "{TURKS}Reunited Kingdom"
  • ...change the faction color on the strategy map - edit data/descr_sm_factions.txt lines 60 & 61, RGB values can be found on Google
  • ...change the faction culture from mesoamerican to gondor - edit data/descr_sm_factions.txt line #56 from mesoamerican to gondor

Please note that this submod is only a Reunited Kingdom script, it does not contain any of the other features of the Heirs of Elendil submod. However, I encourage you to use the Heirs of Elendil Discord server for questions and support related to this submod.

I have gotten enough reports that this mod works as intended for me to consider it done. I will not be patching or releasing any updates for this mod unless a major bug is discovered. Furthermore, I will not be checking this page so if you need to get in touch with me for any reason, please visit the Heirs of Elendil discord server. A version of the Reunited Kingdom script available to Gondor and the Northern Dunedain will be included in the next version of DAC.

if LAA dont work; go to gamescopyworld an dl kingdoms exe. rename to medieval2 and replace. then redo LAA

If anybody is looking for a DAC 4.6 compatible submod that contains the reunited script go to the DAC moddb page, join their discord and go to submods. DAC AGO contains a reunited kingdoms script.

Is that compatible with DaCV3 version dated 9 march (the last one updated) ?

EDIT: is it possible to play that mod for DaCv3 total war submod in the normal campaign? I understand that that might not be possible with total war campaign, but in the submod that allows tw campaign the normal campaign is unchanged (same number of byte) so why not? In that case i'll install it over DaCV3 tw submod
