Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.
The Republic will get a bit more punch in space in the form of the Rothana Destroyer.

looks like a mutated venator can this stand against providence carriers or will it be as strong a a bulwark
I don't think so, judging by the link it is roughly the size of an Acclamator. Possibly a little larger.

I agree,kind of like a Dreadknot, small but powerful enough to destroy a Recucsant
It's a bit smaller than a Venator but has more hardpoint. Not as much as the providence though ( the Procurator does ;) )
The acclamator gets shreded like tissue paper in this mod
The reason it gets shredded is because ts mainly used for landing troops and assaulting planets, unlike the later MK. II
probably doesnt do well when fighters swarm it

Very nice model, but I would like to see a more acclamator-like bridge, in order to distinguish it from the kuati Venator
If you can't distinguish this from a venator you need either a new graphic device, a heavy computer update or just new glasses.
Perhaps I wasn't clear. What I ment is that since this a rothana ship, it's bridge should look more like the rothana Acclamator's, and less like the KDY Venator's.
Now that makes a lot more sense. A design decision that might be better if you look at it from the realitic side, but then again I don't think it'd have the same "grand" look to it.
actualy rothana is part of Kuat Driveyards. Kuat own rothana, and the venator was also developed by kuat, and since they own rothana theyer design might have hadt and inpact on this design
consider it a joint desgin perhaps that seems more logical then trying to determin which company built it maybe it was joint by the two
maybe, but still Rothana is part of kuat´s company, so Kuat´s main designer always have something to say to the design.
But lets not argure about a littel bridge detail.
Its build by Rothana and thats how it is, maybe a good ideá about two bridges.
The Venator Class has two bridges because it has two roles. One bridge is ship control and weapons, whilst the other handles the large contingent of figther squads, a bit like a air traffic control tower irl.
Oh most deffinately but Rothana had its designers too so hey maybe they came under one design together but yeah i see your point though. Eh either way i cant wait to kill with it :D

Won't be as hard to code as some of the bigger ships(my guess, i'm probs dead wrong), so 1.2 at THE earliest, more likely 1.3 or 1.4

Does exist. It was very rare, even in it's hayday at the end of the Clone Wars. It was more of a testbed for ideas for the ISD I. It looks a bit like a Nebula class.

What... you have trouble with munificents?!? how in hell does that happen? they're wimps to most republic ships corvettes even
Munificent have really good firepower but are really fragile. Probably my favorite ship other than the Providence.
