Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.

If i remember correctly that's a problem with the games engine itself. I.E. the program that renders everything.

They could just make a million little engine lights and place them where the current one is, but that would take an enormous amount of time and effort, so I don't think that it will ever be able to be fixed, ever.

That would be cool to see, though, having a million little engine lights to replicate a real(to whatever point star wars is) engine.

i've noticed a glitch(not sure if already spotted yet). when the CIS patrol frigate breaks up, it shows the broken-up parts of the corellian warship, not the CIS frigate. just letting you guys know, not really sure where this goes but oh well. :D

Description

Some shots from 1.2 The AI has been tweaked a bit. Players get nice "peace" for about 15-16 days on easy. The bad news is the AI now will use feint attacks, blockades, and pincer attacks. It will also use fast calvary attacks VERY well. So some of you Generals out there will need to re-think your strategies.
