astonishing model,

(I know the forth come from the moon, but if I remember rightly a scientist once said (and this was before the reccession!) that a teaspoon of anti-matter would bankrupt U.S.A. permenently, but would be so powerfull you would never need more)

but I don't care, this model is just so amazing

but how much more power will the upgrade provide?

remember the soviet super reactor? It's exactly the inverse: Forth basic power makes big boom when destroyed, with upgrade it doesn't! the upgrade will also provide the same as a super.

How many polies does this model have though? With the Upgrade. =P

Though it looks very awesome besides how much polies it has. =P

Oh nice so more or less, the enemy has to attack your base before you get to upgrade your power plants, and more or less make your base explody. =P

We're making a low-poly version of it. Impressingly, it had come with less than 100k polys, excluding copies and such.

And yes, sort of. Make sure your Forth bases are well protected, unless you want a anti-matter boomfest. xD

Wow.. That's Over the highest Poly unit in RA3 the Naval MCV for the Empire of the Rising Sun, and it has 11k Polys.

Unless there is higher than that one. lol

you know, the generator is great, and 100k polies? OMG!!! but don`t you think the Forth is a little overpowered?... a little too much?

for some reason the middle part makes me think of an iron curtain. and this is like one of the greatest models i've ever seen!

The sphere in the middle is supposed to be a force field to keep the anti-matter in position, because else if it would combine with normal matter it would either create heavy ammounts of gamma rays or explode REALLY violently. Also nice addition to the already impressive basis structure.

Description

The Battery Arcs are a permanent-basis solution for additional Forth power supply and the instability caused by problems in anti-matter containment. Using a series of sonic-based laser spike generators focused directly at the spheric containment device as well as 8 small storage batteries per each Arc, this upgrade generates enough electricity to quickly eliminate more anti-matter and produce far more energy, but also sacrificing the Power Plant's mobility: Once installed, the upgraded Forth Power plant cannot be lockdowned and relocated.

This is why the Battery Arcs are installed only on Power Plants inside fortified positions, made to last.
