Just Rules aims at increasing the strategic options in RA3. It includes things like a more balanced upgrade system, revised protocols and build limits on each unit design to discourage spamming and encourage diverse unit formations and strategies.

just spawn dummies holding the SP (see SW structures like Chronosphere) and either give them a lifetime or trigger a modelstate-based LUA event to get rid of the dummy once it fired the SP.
Good point, I was thinking about the protocol powers. I have not yet experimented with LUA events however. What would happen if on the off change 2 players both got the same SP crate and one fired. Would it remove the other object as well?

/edit: or turn into something good, for example, by affecting all (nearby) enemy vehicles/infantry for N seconds. (just some weird thoughts)
I have made a crate that gives the player a MagSat but decided against it later.

I thought about it but then there is final squadron and chrono rift too and that is a lot of bad crates.
Can't you make it gift a one time superweapon? Like that one-time nuke in red alert 2 :D
Even if that is possible the button could not be removed from the left side of the screen after the weapon was fired.
