Dow-Host: Red Phoenix Rising is a total conversion of CNC zerohour. The mod aims to deliver a more realistic battlefield experience. Also, this mod will transform Zerohour to a more demanding strategy game while keeping some arcade touches to make the game enjoyable. The following playable factions will be included: USA, Russia, China, EU, and the GLA
Old Goals: (status)
1. Aircraft should fire 2 BVR missiles per target and should be able to attack multiple targets (DONE)
"Flankers will fire 3 BVR per target" (reason: a.the flanker flies with a larger ammo and array of BVR missiles b.Russian Philosophy of BVR combat)
2. Radar guided missiles must be jammed while flares should be used vs heat-seeking missiles. (loading...)
3. Very random hit or miss probabilities. (also loading...)
4. The ability to hit and run (instead of creating over-kills) (partial completion)
Hope you liked the video
Notice: I am aware of the F-16 shadow bleeding. Its not my model + that model is naughty, its full of bad modeling + i didnt attempt to change anything in it yet. Ill come back to the F-16 in a month or two, for now other aircrafts have a higher priority.
The raptor is armed with 4 aim 120 missiles in the primary slot. No Secondary or Tertiary weapons were assigned. Ill add a Secondary AIM9X soon. In part 1 one of the raptors used only one out of the four missiles while the other used 3 of the four and thats why i call this RANDOM. Everything is automatic, all what i did was order the raptors to guard in the middle of the map.
This new improvment, i think,is very interesting)
It looks beautiful! And that missile smoke trail too)
Nice, literally "laser guided" i see lol :D
yeah thats the first thing that came to my mind. I was like shall i keep the lasers? then i tried 4 vs 5 aircrafts hoping to find out whats going on but it turned out to be a real mess. u can never tell who is targeting who without replays and pausing each couple of frames.
