Dow-Host: Red Phoenix Rising is a total conversion of CNC zerohour. The mod aims to deliver a more realistic battlefield experience. Also, this mod will transform Zerohour to a more demanding strategy game while keeping some arcade touches to make the game enjoyable. The following playable factions will be included: USA, Russia, China, EU, and the GLA
The multiple targeting system will be used for SAM sites and ABMs. A lot of people thought that it is impossible to have multiple targeting in Zerohour. Yet this is a clear example of how it is possible. The recipe is a trade secret :P. This system was developed to be used with this mod only. However after the release of the mod you can take it and implement it in any mod. The video lags because of my @#$%&* screen recorder. I will use a better recorder later.

Well, yes all of what you mentioned is planned for this mod but I need some modelers and mappers to help achieve the goals of this mod because its a lot for 1 person. Yes teamwork is the key thats why there will be no major developer for this mod. Anyone should be able to contribute in the near future. However 15 factions is way beyond the current plans unless people can contribute models for an entire faction then we will adjust them accordingly.
Wouldn't this multiple targetting system make air units a bit underpowered?
The attacking aircrafts dont have countermeasures installed. When countermeasures are used, the effectiveness of the system goes down as there will be a probability of missiles missing the target. Moreover, the system can be called intelligent random multiple targeting system as it will be having more features which I will show soon such as coordinating attacks with other buildings of the same type.

I tried to make it kinda semi-realistic (ROTR, but more realistic behavior of the units) and I ALWAYS searched for something like this!!
