Wars of the Firstborn is a modification based on the discontinued Ridder Clan Mod for The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth II and for The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth II - The Rise of the Witch-King expansion, which focuses on bringing to life as much of the Elven world from Tolkien’s epic as possible.

Hello everyone!

Another year has past and it's MOTY again. It has been.. a really silent year for the mod but not without progress. There isn't much to say but what I can say is that I'm pretty proud of what I managed to achieve. The mod itself is going through a last visual update and it's going pretty great.

This year I want to change a bit how I announce things. Usually I do a full review of the year/s with wall of texts but this year I don't have the energy and I want to still keep some thing... secret. So on that note I want to share from the start a video presenting a promo video of the mod. You can see in it never shown before content! You can regard these videos as part of the "story" of the mod winch is based on the Middle-Earth lore itself (lore-ception).

I would like to give a humongous thanks to Valheru for his astonishing work as a fire-lord and creating all the fire FX which you can see in the video (which are now part of the mod). Without his aid this would probably not have been possible (or just have some basic fires).

In the future I hope I will be more active and release this once and for all. Until then, vote for your favorite BFME and LOTR mods here on moddb and remember, this is the best time of the year for all modders and fans!

Regards,
NewErr
