Ravenhurst is a mission pack and modification for the game Hexen 2. It will continue using the same hub based system the series is known for while adding new monsters and many new levels to explore.
Sorry for the long wait, things have been hectic over here, but I'm aiming for a small test release later this month. Nothing fancy, most likely it will just be the first couple of maps. No new code changes because I'm still looking for a programmer to come take up the cause.
*hint* *hint* ;)
On that note, if there are any texture artists, programmers, modellers, music and or sound people that might like to lend a hand, please give me a shout - I could use the help in these areas. :)
From here on out I'm aiming to do small incremental releases once I'm done with certain areas rather than waiting for everything to be "done" (Which for me can be a very dangerous term). I'll still go back and
touch up released levels if need be, and if bugs are found, but this will help stop feature creep and my perfectionist habits from kicking in (at least a little bit).
More news soon!
Public alpha version. Requires the Unofficial Quake Engine.
Hi,
I'd like to try to get in touch with the author of this mod. Are you out there still? Leave a reply if so, please.
Thanks.
Downloading it right now! I didn't knew there was a custom mission pack for Hexen II.
Can't wait to try it :D Thank you so much for posting this and to everyone who puts time and efforts into making this.
Cheers :D
Just completed it! Of course I know it's a "Work-in-progress" project and an Alpha release. I had fun playing it, hope this project still on the go.
The 1st level was great! It was a good idea to put riffs/mountain to climb on.
The 2nd level I enjoyed the fight with the 2 wizards protecting the entrance. But I was suprise to see how short the 2nd level was.
Played the map on "jsHexen II" engine and it worked like a charm <3
I personally prefer jsHexen II over UQE
I could try to lend a hand in the mapping, texture, and even modeling department.

No I didn't. Thanks though, I'll check it out.
Good Luck
Well, the gameplay will be very similar to the original, because right now all the changes to the code I have right now are from the previous coder, and he's been long gone for a while.
Until I get another coder, and until summer comes around, progress will pick up.
Please do not make this boring like the original game, all I ask...
Wait, what!? Don't even bother to play it than.
