Puzzlr is a fast-paced multiplayer puzzle game based around teams working together to accomplish challenging puzzles and play through entertaining mini-games. It runs on a modified version of the Source Engine from 2007. As a result, this game has the minimal requirement of owning any Source game. Everything else will be provided by Puzzlr. This project is Open Source and can be followed here.
After quite some time with no released updates to Puzzlr and very little development going on, we're pleased to say we are going to be restarting development of Puzzlr. This new version will be a clean state. We won't use the Portal cube at all, instead we'll be using a Hammer-created cube that requires no additional content. We'll be keeping with our previous idea of minimal requirements for the mod and that will most likely continue to hold true. This project is know proceeding as an Open Source project which has all of the content of the new version available on our Google Code page here. All of the code is licensed under the MIT license which grants users the ability to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of Puzzlr. Although to be quite honest, we would definitely prefer if our code and game was not sold as is without any modification. That being said, you're still able to do it. This new version of Puzzlr is based not on Half-Life 2 : Deathmatch but instead on a Multiplayer Mod template from the Source SDK. With an SVN server set up through Google Code, our development will be much more efficient and as a result releases will come much faster. More advanced users will also be able to compile newer versions for themselves although we cannot guarantee this will work nor can we guarantee that you'll have any better of a playing experience. In summary, Puzzlr is back and will be better than ever with an all new engine and all new maps.
Thanks,

Well, I haven't really said anything new about Puzzlr in some time, so here it is.
I gave up on the idea that a private beta would stay private. Here's some more Beta information.
A update for the icon set. This update add's a high definition source icon for those who want a glossy look to their icon's.
NOTE : If the ico for the Source icon doesn't work with RocketDock, use the PNG. High Resolution (256x256) icons by Deviant-Core Team for Puzzlr and Source...
Beta2 Release of Puzzlr. READ THE "READ MORE" BEFORE DOWNLOADING!
This is the first Puzzlr Beta release. The goal of the test is to discover any bugs and to get feedback on the game. Any and all suggestions can be submitted...
So, it is a Multiplayer Half-Life 2 Mod where each team has to solve uzzles to win?
This isn't dead is it? I really liked the idea of other cubes... if only modding and coding and mapping weren't so complex.... there's be 10 mods from each person then...
Well,I actually didn't see fun on the mod.You said Challenging puzzles,I didn't find any.You said PUZZLE,this mod has no puzzle,no "funny mini-games",NO SERVERS,no loading screen, well, the mod could be reworked and make it better, there is a map which crashes,I don't remember the name of it,I think it's game_1 something like this.
It NEEDS work,I will still be tracking it,but well, the maps make no sense, there's nothing about CHALLENGING on it,and well, wanna see the PERFECT map for PUZZLES?Download Synergy and play Trials, the best map sequence with puzzles ever made.I wish you luck on the mod.
Good Luck,you will need!
Well... thanks for the constructive criticism in the least. At least you were smart enough to say what's wrong with it, not just that it's bad. Anyway, if you read the tutorial for the Beta it'll explain the game modes, though more will be added. As for the puzzles, it goes on a gradient from easy to difficult. We've been playing around with new methods for future puzzles and they certainly will get harder. This game is multiplayer though, so please take that into account. Sandbox and Score won't be fun if you're playing by yourself.
lol, we fixed all the errors and added new maps and made it more fun. the new beta will be friday. and its supposed to start easy then get harder over time.
well, make maps more like pros, because there are some that are so...not beautiful, and too simple, that even I can do :O
The maps that seem too simple were probably mine. All the sandbox ones are supposed to be simple for multiplayer purposes. As for not beautiful, we're experimenting with different looks, nothing is final yet.
Instead of trying to ruin the mod, enjoy it. As Chromatica stated before they'll be removed by release.
Any plans of a update yet? I really wanna continue on that intro map :D
i haven't been in contact with chromatica for a couple days now. i will continue working on maps for the mod.
I'm working on the Beta2 build as we speak. Expect another release soon.
