It's been quite some time since I've posted something about Puzzlr, so I decided to make a few announcements here. First of all, Puzzlr will continue on the development path it is on, this means that it will only require Half-Life 2 Death Match. HL2DM is available for free through offers from both Nvidia (Steampowered.com) and ATI (Steampowered.com) and thus Puzzlr is completely free. Next, I plan to release a second Puzzlr Beta known as Beta2 by this upcoming Friday. With this new beta release, at least one dedicated server will be run, but a second may be run as well. This server will be run on my lightning fast 5 mbps upload speed, with a max server size of either 10 or 12 to avoid using up too much bandwidth. This new beta will include at least 10 working maps, up from the previous 6. Lastly, we plan on implementing a built-in bug reporter into the mod, so that users can report bugs straight from the menu. This should hopefully be ready for Beta2.

It doesn't need HL2DM. I don't have it and it works. (but I have Orange Box)
By saying it will only require HL2DM means that it's enough with HL2DM, Half-life 2 will also work. I'm not sure about this but, I think HL2DM includes less models than the complete game, so the mod will use the models of HL2DM which is also included in HL2.
Oh, well. HL2DM is for free so it's not a problem to play this ;)
Half-Life 2 Deathmatch also has Models and Textures that aren't in normal Half-Life 2
Yeah, I meant that HL2DM is a minimum requirement. It's that simple.
