The year is 3013. The United Earth Marine Corps, responding to a distress beacon from Mission Earth II, on planet Oblivion. Last thing heard over the distress beacon was, "the enemy is like an evil pl--" and it cuts out. The soldiers in the fleet don't know what they are in for but they know they are going to see hell before their eye's. In this mod/full conversion of Half-Life 2 we hope to acheive: Project Oblivion will include 3 races: The Oblivions, The Plague, and The United Earth Marine Corps (UEMC). This update includes most of the units and their weapons, and even features one of the plague units that you will be fighting or playing as in the mod. The next media release will include maps, textures, props and the rest of the plague team. We would allso like to ask for animators who can animate our rigged models and any one else who is willing to lend a helping hand, we have pleanty of unfulfilled positions on the team. This mod looks promising, everything on it so far looks great, plus for those of us who like starcraft will probably like this too

I hope this mod doesn't die. It looks promising; maybe people just need to be reminded of its existence.
work has slowed down a bit though because we dont have any animators to animate the models. And we are updating the website atm and im revamping some of the models i wasnt entierly happy with, we are working on the intro cgi sequence of the mod as well. But the mod is still very mutch alive
