Approximately one year has passed since the Marked One's story. You are the military Lieutenant Priboi Slipchenko, and you were sent into the Zone... There was a secret organization, called UHSF, and they were responsible for the incident. They had a base at Dead City but the mercenaries wiped them out in the late 80's. The organization fell apart, and the last living members disappeared until today. Somehow this story is connected to the Marked One's story, and you'll eventually find out how. Over 20 important classified documents were hidden in the zone and you will need to find them to complete the puzzle. You will need to be "Sherlock Holmes" and dig deeper in the zone then you have ever done before. This is a re-release of the popular Priboi Story modification released in later January

Dezowave is an indie team of game enthusiasts, you may know us from projects like: S.T.A.L.K.E.R Priboi Story and S.T.A.L.K.E.R Lost Alpha a standalone fan game based on the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. universe which millions played, and awaited. Lost Alpha was our first big project, even though its not perfect we are proud of it and it's good to see it's still being developed further by modders.

After Lost Alpha Developers Cut production in 2015 a small group of old LA project members started to work on various game concepts. One of them was called Subversity. This project is a single player post-apocalyptic style game played in a game world which is not about nukes and zombies, but about an area which is still a complete – and heavily guarded – mystery these days. The storyline background has many dramatic elements, which are cleverly presented and explained to the player during the game.
The market has some significant online shooters in post-apocalyptic worlds, but most of them are about nuclear war or zombie outbreak. The single player games are very rare in this kind. In 2018-2019 Chernobyl became popular once again as some game projects (S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, Chernobylite) were announced, as well as HBO’s famous Chernobyl series were aired.

Our project however is not played in Chernobyl, but in Chelyabinsk Oblast area, where the Mayak power plant is situated. Even though Mayak is a nuclear power plant, just like Chernobyl, in our project we present it as a secret cold-war era facility, just like Area 51 in the USA. This background gives us many possibilities, those, which aren’t yet over-used.

Dezowave is not an AAA studio, it’s an indie developer team, which means we have no financial background. Our main goal now is to create a demo, which will show our game concept, some story related tasks, and action elements. We aim for crowdfunding, because currently thats the only way to be able to turn the demo into a full-fledged game.

What we have now is a huge Unreal Engine 4 project with GIT and a prototype demo with some neat features and simple tasks presented in an eerie gameworld. This all was made by 2 very active guys in less than 6 months. However we need You and your experience to finish the demo!

- Project is using: Unreal Engine 4.26.2
- We use GIT for revisioning.
- We use Discord to talk and share stuff.
- English is the main language in team.
- We are searching for people for pro bono positions (at the moment).
- We will crowdfund the demo.
- Work type: Remote, we all work from home in different countries.

Who we would need to finish the demo and continue to work on the project:

- Concept artist (creating nice concept arts based on our design doc for character artists, modelers and level designers)
- Character artist (creating unreal engine ready character models, based on concepts)
- Weapon modeler (creating weapons from concepts with some extra)
- Modeler (creating game-ready props, modular buildings based on concepts and reference images using quixel textures)
- Writer (preferably native English speaker, who would do quest design, dialogs, item descriptions)
- Animator (making first-person animations compatible with Unreal Engine skeleton)
- Blueprint "visual scripting programmers" (doing system design, coding AI etc.)
- Gameplay designer (creating interesting tasks, adding npc-s, wildlife to the maps, setting up camps etc.)
- UI artist (design an unique GUI/UI for the game - menu and inventory)

Big plus if you:

- Like post apocalyptic games.
- Participated in modding or indie game projects in the past.
- Have at least 4-5 hours a week for us and the project.
